Carly Lake is an illustrator and fiber artist living near the San Gabriel Mountains. She creates woven and quilted artworks utilizing natural dyes from her local landscape, as well as traditional dyes from across the globe. Carly loves to teach on the history and foundational techniques of natural dyes, fostering deeper connection and wonder with our shared environment.
Scarf details:
This 100% Silk scarf is dyed using Aztec Marigold flowers (Tagetes Erecta) and Iron.
Measures 8" x 50"
All scarves are created with a variation of Shibori pattern, similar but not identical to the pattern design in the photo.
Color may vary slightly due to the nature of the dye process. Each piece truly is handmade and one of a kind!
